We are seeking volunteer marshals to assist the running of this incredible race.

The 2026 edition will take place on Sunday 10th May marking the 70th occurrence of the race that everyone involved in is proud to be part of. However, the number of officials and volunteers required is in the region of 140 so we need your help!

We are seeking marshals to work alongside our traffic management team to enable the race to pass every single junction safely and allow the riders to race on a traffic free course. You will work under supervision and an online training session will take place a couple of weeks before the event.

You will be fully covered by the event insurance for your role, and you will be provided with lunch and refreshments during the day. Furthermore, every volunteer will be offered a free place in one of our sportives as a reward for their work which is vital to keep the race rolling!
