Alternative routes from Lincoln to Pyewipe Inn on Sunday 11th May between 0900 and 1700 hrs

Recommended routes:

From the North:
Take the A15 to the A1500 to Sturton by Stow to turn towards Saxilby to join the A57 to then head East to reach the entrance.

Alternatively, you may join the route that the race is taking (see map below) anywhere along Newport, Yarborough Crescent or Burton Rd / Middle St, to proceed via Burton Village to join the A57 at Burton Waters.  You may need to wait a few minutes for the race to pass to join the race route, but you will then be able to proceed, following behind the race until you reach the restaurant entrance.

From the City:

There is a signed diversion from Carholme roundabout down the A46 to proceed via Doddington.

The alternative to the diversion as as follows:

If you are on the west side of the city, make your way to the north of the city via Lindum Road and follow the directions above.   

From the East side, you may travel up Yarborough Road from the Avenue once the race has passed by.  You will then be diverted along Upper Long Leys to run left on to Burton Road.  At the Shell garage you will join the race route and follow the route via Burton Village to Burton Waters and along the A57.  You may need to wait a few minutes for the race to pass at the Shell Garage before proceeding.
