The Lincoln GP Weekend - a Cycling Extravaganza!

Come and join in a fantastic weekend-long cycling extravaganza when the Lincoln once again plays host to both the Lincoln GP Sportive followed by the Rapha Lincoln GP the following day.

Enter our biggest sportive of the year that finishes up the infamous Michaelgate climb that will be closed to traffic for you! And you may like to stay over and watch the Pro’s race up the same climb multiple times on Sunday whilst enjoying the fantastic city of Lincoln.

Choose from three routes through quiet picturesque lanes including the challenging Lincolnshire Wolds. The shortest routes take in less of the hills of the Wolds whilst at just over 100 miles, the long route is a real test as the Wolds start to take their toll as the ride goes on!

The icing on the cake for your ride is the closed road cobbled climb of Michaelgate. After venturing into the hills of the Lincolnshire Wolds, this is the final test before finishing in Castle Square right outside Lincoln Cathedral.  You may just get to enjoy the leg burn that the Pro’s will get when they race up it the next day!

Food is available to purchase once you are back at the HQ with your finishers medal. You’ll receive first class support the whole way throughout your ride from our friendly team - with mechanical & medical back-up, great feed stations - and of course provide you with your time from our chip timing partners even before you are eating your food!

The Pro race the next day is a great spectacle and 2026 will be the 70th edition! The Rapha Lincoln GP is the longest standing, and arguably most prestigious race on the domestic calendar.

The rides will start from 0800hrs with the long route riders departing first followed by the medium and then the short. All riders will have started by 0930. Registration will be open at 0715
